- Book at least two weeks before any big event — lips swell first.
- Skip alcohol for 24 hours beforehand.
- If it's safe for you, pause aspirin, ibuprofen & fish oil for a week — never stop a prescribed blood thinner without your doctor.
- Prone to cold sores? Tell me when you book, so we can plan ahead.
After your visit
- Ice gently and sleep propped up the first night.
- Gentle kissing is okay — stay out of direct sun for 72 hours.
- No smoking or drinking through a straw for two full weeks.
- Swelling settles over two weeks — that's when you'll see your true result.

These three are salon services only. They need a proper treatment room and my full attention, so you'll find them at the salon at 1568 S. US 87 in Fredericksburg. My Botox, Xeomin, lip filler and lip flip appointments haven't changed — those are still mobile, wherever you are, or at the salon. Whatever you like best.
A $50 deposit holds your appointment and goes straight toward your service. Life happens — just give me 24 hours' notice and it moves with you to your new time.

At-home pens are built for the shallowest settings, around 0.25–0.5 mm. At that depth the real benefit is helping your serums absorb and keeping skin smooth between appointments. An in-office treatment works deeper, uses numbing and sterile single-use cartridges, and is adjusted to your skin as we go. Think of an at-home pen as maintenance — not a replacement for the treatment itself.
One rule I'd ask you to follow: cartridges are single-use. Never reuse one, never share a pen between people, and don't go deeper just because the device allows it. That is where at-home needling goes wrong.
